The Tech Trek program at the California State University, Fresno was established in 1999.
Established in 1911, California State University, Fresno is one of the most prestigious of the 23 campuses in the California State University system. The 327-acre main campus is located in one of California's largest metropolitan areas, nestled near the foot of the majestic Sierra Nevada range in the thriving San Joaquin Valley. An additional 1083 acres comprise the University Farm, which is considered one of the most modern and best-equipped agricultural facilities in the West.
Fresno State students—about 18,000 of them—are able to work directly with exceptional faculty in an academic setting where hands-on experience and real-life career preparation are priorities. Fresno State offers undergraduate degrees and programs in liberal arts and sciences, as well as in a variety of professional disciplines that emphasize agriculture, business, engineering and technology, health and human services, and education. Fresno State provides students with opportunities to expand their intellectual horizons, foster lifelong learning, prepare for further professional study, and gain an appreciation of cultures other than their own.
